Liberty Natural Products, based in Oregon, is our main supplier of essential oils. They grow their own lavender, and the essential oil that they distill from it is the best we have ever smelled. It transports us instantly to a sunny day in a lavender field. Absolutely divine.

New Directions Aromatics is a wonderful resource for essential oils, base oils, and other soap making supplies. Their website also gives detailed information about the origins, scent, and therapeutic properties of the essential oils that they carry.

Spiritual-path.com – This is the one of the main web resources that we turn to for the magical and spiritual properties of essential oils.

The Mustard Seed Natural Living Center, based in Portsmouth, NH, is our main supplier of fragrance oils and of dried herbs that we cannot grow in our garden. We visited The Mustard Seed when we lived in Maine one winter, and Andrea was ready to pick up and move to New Hampshire just to be near this store. The walls of bulk dried herbs, essential oils, and teas were as seductive to the herbalist as a library is to a book lover. Come to think of it, Andrea is still ready to pick up and move just to be near this store.
