The blend of skin-conditioning oils used in this soap creates a layer of oils on the skin that deters bugs, so this soap has mild insect repellent qualities. In addition, we have used naturally insect repellent essential oils to create a light, lemony scent blend that not only smells wonderfully crisp and outdoorsy, but that the bugs would rather avoid. This soap is crafted using the hot process method of soap making.
